Trincomalee Koneswaram Temple


The koneswaram temple also known as Dakshinakailasha, tenkayilai. It is a classical-medieval Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva in Trincomalee, Eastern province, Sri Lanka. The temple is situated a top Swami malai, a promontory that overlooks the indian ocean ,the nearby eastern coast.

Naval Museum


The Naval Museum in Trincomalee was opened by the Former president Mahinda Rajapaksha on feb 3,2013. The museum is symbolically established near Fort Frederick in Trincomalee where the Dutch first landed in the 16 th century. The museum was established with a financial assistance of LKR 75 million from the Government of Netherlands under the Sri Lanka.

Kanniya Hot Springs


The Kanniya Hot Springs is a site with hot wells located in Trincomalee ,Sri Lanka. Each spring is enclosed by a stone wall to form seven individual wells, which in turn are covered by a wall to provide privacy to those who bathe. The size of each well varies.
